AI implementation for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, pool & more
AI that runs the front office of your trade business.
Every shop runs differently. We look at your CRM, phones and workflows, then put the right AI to work: answering and booking calls, faster quotes, automatic follow-up, and AI tools your office team uses every day. All built on the software you already run.
For service companies doing $1M–$25M in revenue.
Outcomes
Where AI pays off in a trade business
Missed calls answered
An AI receptionist picks up after hours, at lunch and during surges, and books, triages or escalates to a human based on your rules.
Faster quoting
Tech notes, photos and price books become draft estimates your team reviews and sends the same day.
Smarter dispatch
Calls come with structured job details, urgency and address, pushed into your FSM, so dispatchers make decisions instead of retyping.
Follow-up that happens
Open estimates, unpaid invoices and lapsed customers get timely, on-brand nudges, and your team only sees the replies.
More reviews
Every completed job triggers a review request at the right moment, routed to Google.
Office capacity without hiring
Repetitive admin moves to AI, so your CSRs and office staff spend their time on customers and exceptions.
AI tools for your team
We set up and train your office on the right AI tools and models, such as Claude or Perplexity, for writing, research, estimating support and customer communication, with guardrails for your business.
Process
Audit, build, launch, improve

Audit
We review your call recordings, workflows and software, then hand you a prioritized ROI roadmap with the specific AI tools that fit your stack.
- 2
Build
We implement on top of the tools you already use, like ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Skimmer and QuickBooks.
- 3
Launch
We go live in stages with human fallback, train your team and fix the rough edges.

Improve
Each month we monitor, tune and add automations, and report against the KPIs we agreed on.

Operator-built
I've built and run service businesses, so I build like an operator.
I'm Justin Ehrhardt, an entrepreneur who has bought and sold multiple seven-figure companies and is currently CEO of two successful companies. I've built and run service businesses myself. AI for Service Trades brings those same playbooks to other trade owners, and we measure the work in booked jobs and office hours, not slide decks.

FAQ
Common questions
Do we have to switch software?
No. We build on top of what you already run (ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, Skimmer, QuickBooks and common phone systems) wherever they offer integrations.
Which AI tools do you use?
It depends on your business. We're not tied to one vendor. Depending on your CRM, phone system and goals, that can mean an AI receptionist, workflow automation, research tools like Perplexity, or models like Claude set up for your team. The audit decides what fits.
Will AI sound robotic to my customers?
We script the AI with your intake questions, your service area and your tone, and test it on real call scenarios before launch. Anything outside its rules goes to a human.
Is this replacing my office staff?
The goal is to take repetitive work off their plate and cover the hours and surges you can't staff. Most owners use it to grow without adding office headcount.
How long until it's live?
An audit takes about two weeks. A front-office implementation usually goes live in stages over 30 to 45 days.
What size company is this for?
Service-trade businesses doing roughly $1M to $25M in revenue, including owner-operated companies and PE-backed roll-ups.
Do you work outside Colorado?
Yes. We're based in Monument, CO, and work with trades nationwide, remotely and on-site when it makes sense.
What does it cost?
The audit runs $2.5k to $7.5k and is credited toward implementation. Implementations run $10k to $35k, and the ongoing partner retainer is $2k to $8k per month. Exact scope comes out of the audit.
